Floater

I have grown up with animals ranging from dogs to tree frogs but Orion, my soul mate cat, made me into a total cat lady. Orion and I have grown up together for 17 years, he’s a huge part of why I’m drawn to helping animals. I’m here to learn as much as I can about the animals and the veterinary practice. I have many ideas of what my future will be filled with but the majority of those ideas include animals, like how it’s always been a dream of mine to own an animal rescue. Animals are my life and they will be my future.

Customer Service Representative

Although I have recently started working in the animal industry, I am thrilled to be learning new things every day. I’ve always been a big animal lover and even dreamed of becoming a vet as a child. I currently have four dogs: two German Shepherd-Huskies, a Rat Terrier, and a Great Dane. While I love all animals, big dogs hold a special place in my heart. One of my favorite aspects of this job is meeting new people and creating meaningful connections.

Veterinary Assistant

I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats. In the past, I’ve had snakes, lizards, frogs, and a tortoise. I’ve been working in the animal industry since October of 2023. My favorite thing about working here is being able to participate in a team; we flow like a sports team. When I was younger, I wanted to be a horror writer or write books about aquatic animals. My future career goals are to become an American Sign Language teacher. Outside of work, I enjoy longboard dancing and playing Magic: The Gathering. One skill I have is that I’m fluent in American Sign Language and I’m learning Spanish Sign Language.

Employee Relations Coordinator

My house has 9 cats and 5 dogs. I have been working and volunteering in the animal industry for 4 years. My favorite thing about working in a vet office is seeing a variety of animals, from kittens to exotics. My future career goals include opening animal rescues all over the country that specialize in pets who would normally be euthanized for behavior or medical reasons. I have opened an animal rescue with my sister and Dr. Jam called Paw-Rump Rehab and Rescue that will do just that.

Veterinary Assistant

Currently, I have 5 dogs: two working line German Shepherds named Paisley and Kimber, a Belgian Malinois named Vendetta, a French Bulldog named Henry, and a Cane Corso named Callie. I’ve been working in the animal industry for 4 years, and my favorite part of working in a vet office is working with animals and helping clients with their pets in times of need. As a child, I always wanted to be a veterinarian, and my future career goals include finishing tech school and possibly going to school to become a veterinarian. Outside of work, I enjoy training my dogs, off-roading, camping, and boating.

Receptionist

I have 6 dogs: 3 Great Danes (Danester, Reign, and Haven), a White Shepherd (Luna), a Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix (Care Bear, who is actually my daughter’s service dog), and a Chihuahua (Boogers). I have always had animals in my life, including rats, snakes, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, chickens, ducks, and goats. I originally worked for another veterinarian years ago, then went into retail service, and then was offered the opportunity to work with Dr. JAM and have been here for over a year now. My favorite thing about working in a veterinarian clinic is growing a bond with not only all the babies that come in but with their owners, and of course, all the stuff I learn. When I was growing up, animals were my passion. I wanted to first be a veterinarian, then a zookeeper, and finally a vet tech. My goal is to learn as much as I can and continue to grow, learning as many aspects of the clinic as I can. Outside of work, my hobby is my dogs; we are always out working and training.

LVT

I have a deep passion for animals and have been working in the animal industry for 11 years, my favorite being veterinary medicine. Before that, I was a junior dog handler showing English bull terriers. My favorite thing about working in a vet office is seeing an animal come back in for a recheck being all better from our efforts. I also run a reptile rescue called Ruby’s Reptile Rodeo and have volunteered at the Wild Bird Fund in NYC and Fresh Start Reptile Rescue in NC. As a child, I wanted to be a doctor, then changed paths to music, I started playing the piano at 3 years old, attended specialized schools for classical music, and aspired to be a concert pianist. My future career goal is to achieve my VTS in exotics or anesthesia, but more than likely exotics. I share my life with a diverse group of animals, including 9 dogs, 5 cats, birds, reptiles, and more. Outside of work, I enjoy building my sports car, playing with my many animals, gaming with my family, and playing the piano.
